Grigor Taylor (born in 1943) is an Australian actor, best known for his parts in several television series including Matlock Police and Glenview High.
Taylor was born in Penrith, New South Wales and attended Penrith High School. He became an English teacher and taught at Penrith and then at Marist Brothers, Westmead, New South Wales. He then became an actor.
Between 1971 and 1973 he starred in 99 episodes of Matlock Police as Senior Detective Alan Curtis. Between 1974–75 he was Steve Hamilton in Silent Number. From 1977–78 Taylor was Greg Walker in Glenview High.
Taylor took many other parts in Australian television series such as A Country Practice, Homicide, The Flying Doctors and Mission: Impossible (1988). Taylor acted in several feature films including High Rolling (1977), City West (1983) and Afraid to Dance (1989). [1][2]
